Just Relying on Google Maps Can Get You Lost !!
Seriously, Google Maps is great, but we CAN NOT get google to fix there maps in this area. Google maps will drop you in middle of woods on a trail. Use it to get close to our location, but please, please pay attention to directions below.
We want you to start your vacation out right, not mad because you wasted an hour or more lost looking for the cabin.
REMINDER: No "in-person" check-in required, cabin will be unlocked for your arrival.
Check-in is at 2:00 PM or later, please call for late arrivals after dark.
Check-out is at 10:00 AM.
Directions from I85 Atlanta
- Take I85 from Ga. across the SC state line to Exit 1 for SC11 towards Westminster.
- Go North on SC11, 58 miles to the intersection with Hwy 8 (set odometer, very easy to miss).
- Turn left onto Hwy 8 towards Caesar's Head.
- Hwy 8 will run into Hwy 276. Turn left towards Caesar's Head.
- Stay on Hwy 276 going north for 12 miles.
- Look for landmark, Cedar Mountain Fire Dept, at the intersection of CASCADE LAKE ROAD.
- Turn right onto CASCADE LAKE ROAD.
- Stay straight on CASCADE LAKE ROAD for 2.6 miles.
- When the road changes to gravel, go another 0.8 miles and turn left onto LAUREL CREEK DRIVE.
- Stay straight crossing small creek, when you see 2nd LAUREL CREEK DRIVE sign, bear left following road up mountain.
- Continue through RED gate with a "NO TRESPASSING" sign on it. Our property starts at gate.
- You will pass our log home on the left, but continue going straight, the cabin is at end of the cul-de-sac.
Directions from I40 Asheville
- Take I40 to Exit 46A for I26 towards Hendersonville.
- Take I26 East to the Asheville Airport Exit (Exit 40). Turn right off exit following Hwy 280 towards Brevard.

Stay on Hwy 280 for approx.16 miles. Look for a large intersection (Walmart and Bi-Lo grocery on a hill on your right)
You should turn left at the intersection. This will be Hwy 64 East. - Travel East on US64 for 3.7 miles.
- Turn right at the Marathon gas station (this will be CRAB CREEK ROAD).
- Go 4.3 miles and turn right onto DUPONT ROAD (the road changes names to STATON ROAD).
- Take the road for 5.6 miles until it dead ends at a “Yield” sign. At “Yield” sign, turn right onto CASCADE LAKE ROAD (the road will change to gravel).
- From the “Yield” sign, go exactly 1 mile and turn left onto LAUREL CREEK DRIVE.
- Stay straight crossing small creek, when you see 2nd LAUREL CREEK DRIVE sign, bear left following road up mountain.
- Continue through RED gate with a "NO TRESPASSING" sign on it. Our property starts at gate.
- You will pass our log home on the left, but continue going straight, the cabin is at end of the cul-de-sac.
Directions from I26 Hendersonville
- Take I26 Westbound toward Hendersonville.
- Take Hendersonville Exit 49B (westbound on Hwy 64). In downtown Hendersonville, turn left onto US25 South (CHURCH ST).
- Go about 8 blocks and turn right onto KANUGA RD. (KANUGA RD changes names to CRAB CREEK RD).
- You will go about 10 miles on KANUGA/CRAB CREEK RD and turn left onto DUPONT RD. (DUPONT RD changes names to STATON RD).
- Once you turn left onto DUPONT/STATON RD go 5.6 miles until it dead ends at a “Yield” sign. At “Yield” sign, turn right onto CASCADE LAKE ROAD (the road will change to gravel).
- From the “Yield” sign, go exactly 1 mile and turn left onto LAUREL CREEK DRIVE.
- Stay straight crossing small creek, when you see 2nd LAUREL CREEK DRIVE sign, bear left following road up mountain.

Directions from Caesar's Head (Hwy 276)
- From Caesar's Head, stay on Hwy 276 going north for 12 miles.
- Look for landmark, Cedar Mountain Fire Dept, at the intersection of CASCADE LAKE ROAD.
- Turn right onto CASCADE LAKE ROAD.
- Stay straight on CASCADE LAKE ROAD for 2.6 miles.

Directions from Dupont State Forest Parking Lots
- From “Hooker Falls” parking lot, turn right.
- Follow the road until it dead ends at a “Yield” sign. At “Yield” sign, turn right onto CASCADE LAKE ROAD (the road will change to gravel).
- From the “Yield” sign, go exactly 1 mile and turn left onto LAUREL CREEK DRIVE.
- Stay straight crossing small creek, when you see 2nd LAUREL CREEK DRIVE sign, bear left following road up mountain.
